Tanker 1 is a 1986 Four Guys manufactured tanker. It also carries extrication equipment for vehicle crashes. This engine is capable of carrying 3 firefighters and a D/O (Driver/Operator). It can flow water at a rate of 1500 gallons per minute.
Engine 1 carries 500 gallons of water and 1600' of 5" supply hose. This station houses:Įngine 1 Engine 1 is a 2016. The Director of Public Safety and Fire Chief have offices at this station. It is our main station, built in 1975, and also houses the Pittsfield Police Department. Michigan Avenue (near the intersection of Platt and Michigan Avenue).
Michigan Avenueįire Station # 1 is located at 6227 W. The Department's daily staffing level is currently maintained at a minimum of six personnel. The three Pittsfield Township Fire Stations are staffed daily with a Captain, two Lieutenants, and five fire fighters.
